Volunteer Spotlight

Direct Care volunteers carry out the Child Crisis Center’s mission and are at the center of every service and program. We have more volunteers than we do staff at the center and they are responsible from everything to direct care with our kids to helping raise funds to support our programs. Longtime volunteers, Annette and Paul Cardosi, recently donated a storage unit to be put in our Family Resource Center (FRC) parking lot. Annette and Paul have been wonderful volunteers for the center. They were direct care volunteers and were able to bring joy and positive encouragement for the kids. Our kids really enjoyed the time that this loving couple spent with the children, some even asked for Annette before her shifts. The storage container they brought us has been perfect and we encourage you to give them a call when you’re in the market for a storage space.
